The good thing about using bromine is that it doesnt degrade plastics as easily and hence the shell, jets, pipework are actually in really good condition. Its only really him and his wife that use it and occasionally my kids. He replaced the pump roughly a year ago, the lid has no water ingress and is normal weight.

Filters could do with replacing, but other than that its good to go. Rather than the cheap lazy spa type this is good to use all year round too. Comes with some chemicals and general stuff.
